Often we see and learn about animals from distant countries. North America has it's own wide variety of cold blooded creatures slithering, crawling and climbing in their own backyards! This engaging hour long class will include live animals, fun and educational information, and a Q&A. Topics include: What animals are found in North America? What is their role in the environment? How do they help humans? Difference between venomous and poisonous What to do if you encounter a snake in the wild Invasive Species And much more!

Hello!
Since 2008 I have been teaching people of all ages about reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. I am excited to bring our unique programming to OutSchool.
I was one of the stars of SCALED, which aired in 195 Countries on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel. As one of the shows reptile experts, I helped people pick the perfect animal for them and educated about all sorts of incredible creatures.
I have toured across Canada with stage shows and displays and educated hundreds of thousands of people about reptiles.
In Fall of 2021 we are launching the YYC Nature & Education Centre in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
Blended with fun facts and video animal experiences, we teach the important messages of conservation as well as responsible pet ownership.
