Norse mythology is some of the most recognizable in the world, living on through the legends of Vikings and modern adaptations, such as the Marvel movies. In this ongoing class, students will be introduced to a different Norse God or Goddess each week. Students will discuss the 1 or 2 myths related to the God or Goddess of the week, learn about the events that inspired them (if applicable), learn about their influence on Scandanavian society, and talk about how the myths influence modern...
Students will learn about the different Gods and Goddesses of Norse Mythology.
I have an IDS BA in Modern Languages and Literature, Communication, and Digital Media. I have taken college courses on the Classics for my major, and am familiar with Norse mythology.

Norse Myths often involve violent action/war scenarios, death, infidelity, and crimes/revenge. These will only be touched on as a part of the myth plots, and questions will be handled in an age-appropriate manner.
