In this class, we will discuss all things football by using NFL Next Gen Stats! We’ll start by observing and discussing some of the most recent stats and charts of your learners favorite teams and players! We’ll collaborate with one-another and converse about what made certain successful plays and where are the different areas in need for improvement. Social Skills: Students will be able to meet other students with a passion for the NFL! In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills. Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with different angles of football and be able to express their analysis of the same (and similar) games. Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to the football.
I have played, coached, and now analyzed football for the past 20 years. As a coach I was able to coach every position and team at the High School Varsity level. I also had extensive practice with breaking down team and opponent scouting film. This led to my current position where I work for a football analytics company where I analyze and input data of different football teams in the NFL and NCAA.
