  • The student will learn about a methodology of study. The student will learn about the importance of identifying life goals as a means of motivated study. The student will learn about time management and staying focused upon their goals. The student will learn about the concept of "Read Hard, Think Easy" The student will learn about Napoleon's approach toward reading and annotation. The student will learn how to use their imagination as a tool for mastering knowledge.
I have been a teacher for the last 30 years in both public and private school settings throughout the Atlantic region. Many of my students have attended some of the premier universities in North America (Yale, West Point, Stanford) and in the U.K. (Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh). With those students it was a matter of having approached their studies with effort and imagination; there are no gimmicks or tricks to becoming a great student - it is an innate passion for the subject and a drive to succeed.

A sense of destiny and a driving ambition to succeed
Napoleon is used as the best example of an individual who by their own effort, desire, and determination was able to achieve the unimaginable. This class is not about Napoleon the soldier, it is about Napoleon the student. The theme is that effort and imagination can achieve great results, not to turn your child into a conqueror of Europe.
