In this class, we will be discussing My Lady Jane. This book combines comedy with a fantastical retelling of loosely-based history about Lady Jane Grey. Not only have some of the details been changed in this book compared to the direct history that influenced it, but this story also adds magic to the mix. What's not to love? Will the authors keep the story more historical or more fictional? Will Lady Jane Grey be able to keep her head after being thrust upon a throne for a mere nine days?...

Education: BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Communication and minors in Philosophy and Theology from the University of St. Thomas Experience: More than 9 years as a homeschool parent, more than 30 years of being an avid reader, 3 years of writing fiction while meeting with published authors to discuss different aspects of writing and books, 6 previous high school-level classes taught on this platform in addition to several classes taught on the aspects of writing on Outschool as well as at local libraries for more than 2 years, I am also a Municipal Liaison for the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) program
