Course Overview: Throughout the 11-week course, students will explore the fundamentals of piano playing using the best-selling book "My First Piano Lessons" authored by Emily Norris herself. Each week, students will delve into a new lesson, progressing from the basics of sitting posture and hand placement to mastering foundational skills and playing their first songs. Ms. Emily has been teaching piano and voice lessons to young kids since 2009. She has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a Master's degree in Educational Technology. She wrote the book My First Piano Lessons, the best-selling children's piano book, published by Penguin Random House. She has her own piano and voice studio, EBN Music, in Rockwall, TX.
