Teaching Philosophy As an educator, I have an open mind, positive attitude, and high expectations for ALL of my students. I believe that students learn best by making mistakes and having experiences. In my classroom all students are treated with respect. Together, as an educator and a student, we will achieve great things! Teaching Experience I have a Bachelor of Art's in Elementary Education specializing in integrated sciences from Michigan State University. In 2018, I graduated from Oakland University with my Master's in Reading and Language Arts. I have taught for a total of 5 years in a traditional Brick and Mortar classroom. I also have experience with online teaching. I have been teaching with VIPKid for over a year. Multiplying fractions is a mathematical concept that I have taught in a traditional classroom as well as online. I am able to identify misconceptions and guide students to the correct algorithm. I am able to adjust my teaching to meet the needs of the learners.
Students should come prepared with a notebook for scratch paper and a pencil.
