수업 소개
If you have a learner struggling to complete addition and subtraction problems this course will benefit them. In this course the students will learn how to add and subtract 2 two-digit numbers using the touch point math system. The touch point math system is researched based and proven to improve student performance. Touch math is a multisensory program that uses touch points to engage students of all abilities and learning styles. Students learn how to touch numbers one through nine with their pencil as they count forwards or backwards to compute problems. In this eight week course the students will learn to place and identify the touchpoints on numbers one through 9. They will practice counting up to 20 and down from 20. They will use the touch points on numbers to complete 2 one-digits math sentences and move to more advanced 2 two-digits math sentences. In this course the students will receive direct instruction from the teacher, homework assignments, and access to boom learning for additional practice.

Lesson Two: I can identify touch points on numbers 6 - 9.
Lesson Three: I can count up to 20 and count down from 20.
Lesson Four: I can touch the points while counting up and counting down.
Lesson Five: I can use touch points to add 2 one-digit numbers.
Lesson Six: I can use touch points to add 2 two-digit numbers.
Lesson Seven: I can use touch points to subtract 2 one-digit numbers.
