Ms. Callie's Yoga for Relaxation class will teach yoga poses to help facilitate relaxation and calm.

Yoga basics will be covered to help the student become more comfortable with hand placements and movements.  

First, we start with the grounding process. It is 3 minutes long and aims to connect with the breath and prepare the mind for stillness. After the grounding process, a warm-up will follow. After the warm-up, the teaching of yoga poses and hand mudras begins. The class closes with a cool-down, which takes 3 minutes.

I will help the students by demonstrating each move and hand placement as the class moves along for the full 30 minutes of class.

Hi, I am Ms. Callie. It is nice to meet you! I have over 15 years of experience teaching fitness/wellness and yoga classes for children and adults via online and in-person courses, homeschooling, community centers, and corporate organizations.

I teach fitness/wellness and yoga professionally, and I also personally practice these techniques for better overall health and wellness, which my parents instilled in me as a part of my life. I have been familiar with these practices since I was a child.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications with a Cognate in Psychology. I earned a Professional Certificate in Food, Nutrition, and Health and a certificate in personal training from the National Association of Sports Medicine. Currently, I am working on my accredited Yoga Teacher 200-hour certification in Hatha Yoga.
