Students will have a unique, hands on experience, as they create a Dot painted card. Can be for Mothers Day or any special kind of card. I lead by example - students will follow along as I teach the dot painting process. This will be demonstrated in a step by step instructional manner. I showing how to use the tools to paint this way. Students will learn about the colour wheel and how to mix paints to make other colours. They will also be learning a new way to paint by the use of other tools than just a paint brush.
I have taught this painting technique to people from 9 to 30 year's old for the last four years. This class is all about having fun in learning a new way to use paint.

Round tools for dots (chopsticks, knitting needles or any stick with flat round ends) They can use a Q Tip or a pencil with a flat round end, also a tooth pick. Or dot painting tools. Protected table surface ( Paint on a flat space) Craft Acrylic paint: colors required, black & white and at least 4 of your favorite bright colors Card stock that you can paint on.
