In this class series, we will learn all about money. This class is a 3 part series, and this is part 2. This class can be taken without taking part 1. This class will teach students how to count money and how to make change. We will first look at each coin and do a quick review of what each coin is worth. Then we will start counting money based on what coins I show the students. We will practice counting money through pictures of coins and word problems. We will then dive into how to make...
Students will be able to count money and have an understanding on how to make change.
We use money on a daily basis. I have taught my own children about money through their homeschooling.
Paper and Pencil are optional if student would like to work math problems on paper. Multiples of each coin or paper money are also optional if the student would like to work math problems with actual money.
We will be screen sharing a Powerpoint presentation I have made in class. Nothing special needs to be done on the student's side. On this presentation will be information and pictures about coins and American money.
