Mixture problems will be taught in this class.  If you are challenged by this question, then please take my class.  Trail mix worth $1.65 a pound was mixed with a trail mix worth $1.23 a pound.  How many pounds of each were used if there was twice as much of the $1.23 trail mix as there was of the $1.65 trail mix and if the value of the mixture was $20.55.  The class is structured by showing worked problems on the whiteboard of the share-screen in zoom.  I will show a worked example, then I will proceed to similar problems while asking each student in class what the next step is.  I teach by placing each student in a position to be successful and then ask application questions from the skills I instruct.  Each student will interact with me by attempting the "next step" skill and learning from others in the class as each step of the mixture problems are shown and explained.  The required skills are to understand variables and solve multi-step equations.
