Students will learn several key elements: the history of collage in art, notable examples of collage, how to think like an artist,  how to critique peer images in a constructive meaningful way, and most importantly how to express themselves artistically.  

I have over twenty years of professional and academic experience in Photography & Art History. I'm very passionate about the subject and desire to help aspiring artists and photographers develop their talents. One of my personal passions as an artist is collage so my classroom will be an enriching and motivational environment for the budding young artists.

세부 내용: There will be a weekly assignment (with two parts) to be completed outside of the classroom. The assignment will be exhibited and reviewed in the following meeting. The first part of the assignment involves locating an image that demonstrates the photographic concept/theme being discussed that particular week. The second part of the assignment will be to create your own image using the same concept/theme. 
Assessment

세부 내용: The learner will assess their progress in three ways: peer-review; self-review; and instructor review. Assignments will often repeat every few weeks to allow for additional opportunities to deepen their understanding and to practice the artistic concepts of collage that were explored.
