This group class is intended to promote communicating and develop social skills. Each session will be centered around topics such as: non verbal communication, conversation skills, active listening, & conflict resolution. The sessions will incorporate role playing, and group discussions to facilitate practicing these social skills. Week of May 27th - Nonverbal Communication Week of June 3rd - Conversation Skills Week of June 10th - Active Listening Week of June 17th - Conflict Resolution
This group session is designed to support all kinds of student learners (ex. ASD, intellectual/emotional needs, and various types of learners). There will be opportunities for students to practice social skills reviewed through role plays.
