This is a workshop style class. Students will learn what mind mapping is, why it works, and how to use it to improve their learning and memory. Students will learn create a mind map to help them with their homework, tests, writing, or assignments. Taking psychology completely changed my own approach to learning, and I was 19 years old when I took my first psychology class! I want to help children strengthen their brain so they don't have to wait so long to learn the best way to learn. I studied Child and Youth Studies at University, and took every psychology elective that I could fit in my schedule. I have remained fascinated with the brain, and I hope my students will feel the same way!
