Students will improve their mental math skills to help with counting and early addition strategies. They will work within our base ten number system to help them think about early addition and subtraction and how it is connected. This class is designed to strengthen number sense. Students will work in an engaged setting where quick recall and subitizing, which is seeing number composition and decomposition will be reinforced throughout the lesson. Students will not need to write things down but will interact with the screen and teacher and use auditory and visual processing.
