🦄 National Unicorn Day is held on the 9th of April every year. While mythological unicorns are usually the focus of the fun, zoologists also like to take the day to celebrate all the real "unicorns" of the animal kingdom. :) So, in this special session we will meet animals like the Unicornfish...Unicorn Mantis...Unicorn Shrimp...and others like the Narwhal and the Indian and Javan Rhinos which also sport single "horns!"  🦄

This single session will consist primarily of slides and multimedia content accompanied by lecture, but there will be opportunities to ask questions as time permits, and the classroom board can also be utilized before and after class to engage in discussion about the topic. Additional resources will also be posted in the classroom after the live session ends to help further your study of the species introduced in class!
