Meet the Beatles! This class will be a fun and educational summer experience for students who are interested in the Beatles or just music in general! In class, we will learn about the band, view photos from their history, listen to their songs and watch performances. Taught in a timeline fashion, we will start with the Beatles' origin in Liverpool, England as teens and follow them all the way to their final albums, Abbey Road and Let it Be! The class will be presented in a "story" format...
Students will gain a deeper understanding of the history of one of the world's most influential bands, The Beatles. Through discussion, listening to music, and viewing performances by the Beatles, students will learn how and why they were so important to music and overall history.
We will listen to some of the Beatles' greatest hits and watch performance clips throughout the class, which will be linked in the classroom for students to watch again if they choose.
