What's the difference between "me and I?" How about "he and him?"  During the first session, students will learn the definitions of, and be able to give examples of subject, object, and reflexive pronouns. They will learn about an antecedent and how to replace it using the proper grammatical structure. During the second session, students will further differentiate between an object pronoun and a subject pronoun to clarify when to use which one. During the third and final session, we will cover the reflexive pronouns and their usage. At this point we will review, discuss the differences, and quiz each other. In general, during every class we will spend time during learning the definitions, how to use them, and then have a fun quiz discovering mistakes I plant for them along the way. The goal is to strengthen basic grammar skills. While I will teach the class with a clear approach, I aim for inclusiveness and participation. I believe that students learn from their peers’ contributions too. Students will learn use the correct pronouns and to avoid using the wrong pronouns: “myself or himself" and know whether to use "me" or "I" as they decode the rules.  Subject pronouns and object pronouns are used differently and this course will teach the difference. We will use worksheets, write sentences, quiz each other, and have fun with it until everyone will recognize the incorrect usage and never use it again! Watch out parents, these students may start correcting you!
