Learners will choose the topics that we will cover in class. Learners can choose topics from Various topics from 4th grade to 8th grade Math. (examples: Fractions, Decimals, Ratios, Solving equations, Area, Volume, etc.) These can be topics that they would like to learn more about or topics they may be struggling with. The teacher will present these concepts in a way the student will better understand and possible use students interest depending on the topic to help students learning. It is required that the learner or parent informs the teacher of the topic of choice as far in advance as possible. Please also share any specifics about the learner's experience with the topic. For example, if this is a topic the learner is beginning to explore individually or if it is a topic the learner is struggling with in another class. This will allow the teacher to gather additional resources that will be used during class.
