June 20: Order of operations and writing numerical expressions June 27: General fractions review. July 4: Adding and subtracting mixed numbers and improper fractions. Multiplying and dividing mixed numbers and improper fractions July 11: No scheduled class July 18: Solving word problems with fractions and mixed numbers July 25: Decimal place value and comparing decimals August 1: Perimeter, area, and volume August 8: Multiplying and dividing whole numbers In this ongoing class, learners will review math concepts in a fun and engaging way to review everything they have learned in 5th grade! Students taking this ongoing math camp will be ready for end of year testing. This camp can also be used to review and reinforce everything that was taught in 5th grade and to prepare them for 6th grade.

I have a Bachelor's degree from Clemson University in Elementary Education with a Math and Science emphasis. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University as well. I am a middle school math teacher and I teach students 5th grade math, 6th grade math, pre-algebra, and algebra I. I enjoy teaching and making my classes interactive and fun for my students!
