Sometimes a student just needs an explanation from a different teacher. I am passionate about providing instruction to help students master math topics. I would like students to bring to our session any question types that they are struggling to comprehend. Together, we will work through the problems. When necessary, I will provide instruction on any foundational knowledge that is preventing them from being successful. I will also provide extra practice if we finish early or the student does not bring many quesitons to our session. We can cover any topic from core to advanced levels to SAT/ACT test questions. Example Topics: Integers Solving simple equations Solving quadratic equations Real and complex numbers Solving a right triangle Graphing conic sections
학습 목표
Students should be able apply practical stratagies to solve the math problems they bring to the session. This will sometimes include
memorizing a few vocabulary terms or a shortcut list which helps them break down hard problems. They will learn to look at a new problem and apply what they know in order to solve it.

Bring your quesitons. If you are preparing for a test, bring a list of topics covered on the test. Have paper, a calculator, and pencil with you.

My strength is in the “explaining.” I am a certified math teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience in public, private, and homeschool settings, as well as one-on-one tutoring. I have a BS in Mathematics Education and a MS in Educational Technology and Online Learning. I have six years experience teaching math online. Many students have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in mathematics, but they need help recognizing when to use each skill. My goal is to give students strategies to help them identify the type of skill they need to successfully complete unique problems.
