This class focuses on the concept of number families and *works on memorization techniques in a game-like environment * prepares students for thinking algebraically by "subtraction through adding" games. *prepares students for level 2 : numbers 5-9, and level 3: numbers 7-12 By focusing on what we already know, students can easily adjust their thinking to learn subtraction as head math. Before signing up, can your child: * Count to 150 forward and backward? * Tell you "what's before" and what's after 236? * Add 1-12 using head math? If not, we suggest you start with, or repeat the "add it up" classes first.
