Week of August 30th: Addition by Grouping along with a fun Mystery Message using Addition and Subtraction Week of September 6th: Skip Counting and Place Value (Tens and Ones) Week of September 13th: Telling Time Week of September 20th: Identifying Coins Review and Counting Money Week of September 27th: Fractions in Geometry Week of October 4th: Addition and Subtraction Word Problems Week of October 11th: Telling Time Week of October 18th: Geometric Shapes and Equal Parts Week of October 25th: Addition by Grouping along with a fun Mystery Message using Addition and Subtraction Week of November 1st: Skip Counting and Place Value (Tens and Ones) Week of November 8th: Measurement Week of November 15th: Addition and Subtraction Word Problems Week of November 22nd: No Class Week of November 29th: Place Value (Hundreds, Tens, and Ones) Week of December 6th: Counting Money Week of December 13th: Geometric Shapes (Trapezoids & Quadrilaterals) Week of January 3rd: Double Digit Addition and Subtraction Week of January 10th: Graphing Week of January 17th: Telling Time Week of January 24th: Geometric Shapes (Trapezoids & Quadrilaterals) Week of January 31st: Addition and Subtraction Mystery Numbers, and Addition with Regrouping Week of February 7th: Skip Counting and Place Value (Hundreds, Tens, and Ones) and Greater Than & Less Than Week of February 14th: Counting Money Week of February 21st: Measurement Week of February 28th: Graphing This class has no print outs, I will share my screen for learners to view a slide show. Learners will take turns answering questions relating to the topic of the day. Learners will need to know how to annotate (write/draw) on the screen to be able to participate completely. I am happy to draw for them but it isn't as much fun for the learner. For more information on how to use the annotate function on zoom please go to this link: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005706806-Using-annotation-tools-on-a-shared-screen-or-whiteboard *As of right now, 12/08/2021 learners using Chromebooks are unable to annotate. **Please note that we will not play Minecraft in this class.
학습 목표
Learners will be able to use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve one- and two-step word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions, e.g., by using drawings and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
Students will be able to regroup
Learners will understand that the three digits of a three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones.
Students will be able to count within 1000; skip-count by 2s, 3s, 5s, 10s, and 100s.
Learners will Compare two three-digit numbers based on meanings of the hundreds, tens, and ones digits, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.
Students will be able to tell and write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes, using a.m. and p.m.
Students can measure to determine how much longer one object is than another.
Learners will solve word problems involving dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies, using $ and ¢ symbols appropriately. Example: If you have 2 dimes and 3 pennies, how many cents do you have?
Students can use a picture graph and a bar graph (with single-unit scale) to represent a data set with up to four categories. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems1 using information presented in a bar graph.

학사 학위 교육 Illinois State University에서
Hello, my name is Danielle! I am excited to teach your child! I am currently a stay at home mom of one boy who is 1 year old, and three girls, my youngest daughter is 5 years old and my older two girls, who are actually my stepdaughters, are 13 and 15 years old; they live with us 100% of the time so I consider them my own.
My husband is in the Marine Corps. We are both originally from central Illinois, we currently live in Virginia but I have also lived in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Missouri, and North Carolina.
I attended Illinois State University where I have a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I completed the Professional Development School during my senior year at ISU, which is where college students Student Teach for an entire school year rather than the traditional one semester student teaching program. I have taught Preschool and Kindergarten for 6 years in brick and mortar schools. I have also taught Middle School Special Education and 4th grade for 1 year each in the same school district. Before Outschool I taught ESL online to students in Asia.
I am passionate about education! I love taking something that children are not interested in and making it fun for them. I feel that it is crucial to teach students in a variety of ways as we all learn things differently. I am passionate about reading, I read with my children every day.
I also enjoy going to the beach, swimming in a pool, hiking, bike riding with my family, traveling, and crafting, as well as playing with my girls and watching them learn. I also enjoy doing yoga with my daughters, as well as, spending time with my family and our family dog, June Bug.
I’m excited to meet your child and help foster their love for learning! Please follow me to explore the wonderful world of learning in my classroom!
*I offer a sibling discount when two or more students are enrolled by the same parent in the same class section. I will offer 50% off of one child. Please send me a message to request my sibling discount when you have two or more children enrolled in the same class to receive the discount. Sometimes parents have the same name as another parent in the class or I miss it so I only offer the discount per parent request.
Thank you!
Your Friend,
Miss Danielle
