In this class we will review and practice math skills.  

We will review the following math skills in this class - number sense. number patterns and number recognition from 1 - 100, addition and subtraction, addition math facts plus 1, addition doubles math facts and subtraction math facts minus 1, counting on and counting back strategies with addition and subtraction, telling time using an analog and digital clock, graphing, identifying coins and counting sets of coins to include pennies, pennies and nickels, pennies and dimes. 

I will use math games, songs and hands on activities to teach this class. 
 
I believe learning should be fun, as well as educational.

The math skills for this section will include subitizing numbers 0 - 12, writing numbers 0 - 20, identifying numbers, counting sets of numbers,  exploring number patterns, and counting on and counting back (beginning addition/subtraction strategies)
Each class will begin with a calendar time and then we will work on a different skill during each class.  
I will use games, songs and hands on activities to teach this class.

Dates and skills taught:
Week 1   -   Number Sense - subitizing and writing numbers 0 - 20
Week 2   -   Counting sets - writing and identifying numbers, explore number patterns
Week 3   -   Beginning addition strategies
Week 4   -  Beginning subtraction strategies

24 hours before camp starts I will put any attachments in the classroom.
All attachments are OPTIONAL, your student will learn and enjoy the class with or without them.
