In this class we will be creating a Mickey or Minnie ear headband. Over the course of a week learners will design and create their own headband while meeting fellow Disney-loving learners! I believe that learner creativity thrives in a positive and accepting atmosphere and this class is designed to allow learners to inspire and support each other while expressing themselves with their own design. I will be carefully demonstrating each step with a huge emphasis on safety! Learners will finish this course with a completed headband and the skills to make more and more! No previous experience required.


Class 1: Designing your ears 
              The History of Mickey Ears
             Cutting out the template
             Cutting out the cardboard pieces
             Hot glue safety and practice

Class 2: Cutting out the fabric
              Adding the stuffing
               "Upholstering" the ear fronts and backs

Class 3: Putting together the ears
              Covering the headband 
              Attaching the ears to the headband

Class 4: Adding trim
              Finishing the underside of the headband
              Making the bow (optional)
              Fun ways to decorate!
