Does your child have a love for Disney? Are they looking for a place to sing & have their voice heard? Well, in this ongoing class, students will have the opportunity to sing to their classmates & practice getting outside of their comfort zones! 

There are many benefits in singing, especially in a group setting. Singing improves breathing patterns, aids in relaxation, & develops social skills. We will be singing songs from Hercules, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, The Lion King, Cinderella, etc!

For the first few minutes of class, the students will have a chance to warm up their voices to be able to extend their range comfortably, keep a healthy voice & protect them against damage. Warm-ups may include using humming, yawning-sighing, or lip buzzing. 

The student will have three songs to choose from & every week will have a different Disney theme! Each student will have a chance to sing to the class at least once. While they are singing, the music will be playing in the background & lyrics of the song will be displayed on my screen for the student to follow along. Dancing to the song for fun is encouraged & welcomed! 

As the teacher, I will make sure to inspire the students & create an uplifting singing environment. 

Microphones are not required for this class, but the student can can bring something that replicates one. They can use their hand, a Pringles container, fake flower, hairbrush, an empty paper towel roll, etc! If the student wants to, they can dress up in a Disney costume to make the karaoke experience even more enjoyable!
