I love Math and Programming! Finding ways to make learning fun and giving strategies to children so they can overcome the challenge of being successful in Math, Programming, and Science is my passion. I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, so I took college level finite math, algebra, and geometry in addition to learning BASIC, COBOL, JCL, Dyl-280, DB2, SQL, dbase+, Ada, Pascal, C+, PHP, HTML5, and JavaScript. While earning my MBA Marketing & Market Research, I successfully completed two semesters of statistics. My work experience includes 5+ years as computer programmer, 10+ years in statistical data analysis as a Market Research Consultant, 10+ years as an ECE educator including teaching PreK/Private Kindergarten and math tutoring with K to 6th grade for after school program, 10+ years as private math tutor and Sylvan Instructor for 1st to 12th grade students, and 5+ years tutoring young adults for math portion of SAT, GMAT, and GRE.

Typically, I will give my students extra problems to practice between sessions to assess if the student is ready for the next content section (e.g., Grade 4 USA Common Core Standards there are 10 concept categories: 1. Number & Base Ten, 2. Factors & Divisibility, 3. Multiplication, 4. Area & Perimeter, 5. Division, 6. Overall Fractions, 7. Operations with Fractions (addition and subtraction; multiplication and division are Grade 5), 8. Decimals, 9. Pre-Geometry, and 10. Measurements.수업 외 주당 0 - 1 시간

1. Paper and pencil/pen 2. Please note in this class we will be using annotation tools for Zoom White Board to practice math problems. Unfortunately, Chromebook does NOT allow students to annotate on Zoom White Board so your child will need a different device. If a desktop with mouse, or laptop with touchpad/mouse is not available for student, ipad or tablets do allow annotation.
