Experience: Learners do not need to have prior experience with watercolor. 

📆 Don’t forget to use the alternative schedule feature offered above for this class! With auto-scheduling, parents may automatically schedule sections based on my schedule and exceptions. Age: This class is specifically for little artists that want to play with watercolor. They are aren't interested in watercolor techniques rather they want playfully paint roses and leaves only. 

Class etiquette: Please prepare your learner to show respectful behavior. Raising a hand to ask to speak, not speak over others, and put on their listening ears to hear others. Remind them not to share personal information about themselves or others. You know your learner best, if they need extra support staying in their seat or sharing appropriately please stay near by to provide support if needed (thank you in advance)

When class starts: I will welcome learners and ask them to unmute to share one thing they want to learn in class and to share their favorite color or colors! I'll do my best to incorporate them in the class. Then I will mute students. Students are welcome to use the chat feature if they can, or they can raise their hands to be called on then they can share thoughts. If students wish to share their progress they are welcomed to. Before we conclude class I will ask each student to share their work if they'd like and to share about the work they did (color choices, favorite design, etc.)

*Special note: Siblings are welcome! However, you know their dynamic best. If needed please provide them with separate computers and learning space! You will need to pay for each child, once they are paid for they will each be enrolled in the class. Class Description: 
This class will focus on creating playful loose designs of flowers and leaves. Learners will NOT learn how to paint botanicals in a realistic way. Instead they are encouraged to follow their imagination! 

What will students learn?
-How to make flowers arrangements in fun ways

Instruction:
Students will follow along with my live instruction. Students can replicate exactly what I am showing them or they can choose to follow their intuition. They will be able to use their intuition to use their own color combinations if they choose or to create the botanicals in a style they feel drawn to. 

They will also have the opportunity to create their own designs based on what they have learned. This will strengthen students' understanding and develop their creativity. 

Final result: 
Students will have created samples of watercolor florals and leaves. They will have an opportunity to freely create their own florals as they wish. This exercise can be replicated and used to create gifts for family and friends for greeting cards and decorative art! 

After class: Students can continue to practice these techniques on their own, but are not required to.

NOTE ON MATERIALS: Although this class isn't focused on techniques please provide your learner with watercolor paper that is 140lb weight to hold the water properly. Brushes must be for watercolor student grade.  
I strongly encourage watercolor paint to be student grade. 

THIS WILL HELP LEARNERS SUCCEED! 
*If you use copy or printer paper it won't hold watercolor properly and their painting may rip.
