Specific goals for this class include: learning basic ballet terminology; developing foundational ballet technique, posture, and movements; mastering gross motor skills including animal actions; learning to express simple feelings and ideas through movement; learn to identify basic rhythms and tempos; and improving self-awareness as well as self-confidence.

Miss Zoë  is a dance and movement teacher from the US with a bachelor’s degree from The University of North Carolina, child development and early childhood education training, formal dance training, and collegiate athletic experience. She has four years of in-person, preschool teaching experience, as well as a professional background in dance, ballet, and gymnastics instruction. This class is inspired by Disney's The Little Mermaid, and will refer to the story and characters throughout the lesson.
