These sessions are based off the needs of the learner.  There will be an informal quick assessment to know the growth areas.  Once the growth area has been determined then the teaching will focus on that need.  Letter sounds and names will be mastered first, followed by blending consonants and vowels (CV, CVC, CCVC, CVCC).  There will be red words (words that must be known- i.e: is,of,the)  introduced after mastery of all consonants and vowels. 
The class is structured with a warm up with sound games, followed by a letter/sound drill, then vowel work only.  Next will be sounds tapping, followed with word list reading.  Next we will spell words and finally read phrases and sentences. 
I will teach using multi sensory approaches with slides and word documents.
