I've studied and used form drawing in the classroom for approximately 3 years now in both public school and online settings for ages 6 to 14. I've been working through my Waldorf teacher training through The Sophia Institute and I am currently working on their program for Biography Work by writing my own biography, in the light of anthroposophy and Steiner's 7 year cycles, with the hope to eventually work with individuals and groups in order to assist them in writing their own biography. Furthermore, I've been involved with our local Waldorf school as both a parent and teacher since 2010. I am a firm believer in the Waldorf philosophy and as an artist and art teacher I believe strongly in the benefits of learning form drawing in order to help my students in other aspects of their lives and education.
For this class you will need paper and crayons. Stockmar stick and block crayons are the best, but any crayons will work. I also advise using a sketchbook in order to keep all of your drawings in one place.
