In this friendly letter writing class, students will learn the 5 parts of a letter through song to write an organized friendly letter to a friend. I will walk students through the different parts of a letter, discuss letter writing formatting and organization, and briefly discuss basic sentence conventions as we choose what we want our letter to say! Set up of the Class: - Introductions/Greeting - Learning the parts of a letter - Learning the organization/formatting of a letter - Choosing our words and what to write - Writing time and share time Parts of a Letter: - Heading - Greeting - Body - Closing - Signature Basic Sentence Conventions: - Capital letters - Ending punctuation - Subject - Predicate - Word spacing
학습 목표
Students will become familiar with the 5 parts of a friendly letter: heading, greeting, body, closing, signature. They will be guided through planning and creating their own friendly letter. We will focus on enhancing the organization trait of writing as well as basic sentence structure.
