수업 소개

This class is a fun way to reinforce letter formation and also learn how to follow step by step instruction where I will model drawing each step. Students will make letters into simple cartoons following one step at a time.  Interspersed between letter cartoons will be fun songs designed to help children shake their sillies out with music, movement and dance to Raffi's Shake your sillies out song and others.  This is a fun social time where kids can make new friends. Dancing is optional.  We will meet one time soon to be followed by other classes I will be offering.  I am new on Outschool and this is a fun introduction to my classes I will be offering.

Students will learn to follow step by step instruction to learn how to write letters and make simple cartoons out of their letters.

There will be brief dance and movement songs. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately and has water close by and is physically able to maintain a physical movement for 2-3 minute songs. Have your children stretch if necessary before class. Please supervise and ensure open space for dance without contact with obstacles where they might get hurt.

Paper, markers, crayons or colored pencils, pencils

Something to draw with and draw on.  You can even use a whiteboard and marker.

I have been an educator in preschool and elementary classes for the past 20 years.  I prepare preschool children for Kindergarten.  I teach children to read and improve their reading skills.  I also love to teach arts and crafts, science,  and kids cooking classes.  I also have many other ideas for classes in the future.

I have taught all age children from 3-12 and I have been a classroom teacher in preschool through 5th grade. I have a Colorado Teaching license and have worked in many diverse settings. Part of that time I was an enrichment teacher so I specialize in coming up with fun arts, crafts and science projects.
