In this fun class we will learn about animals and plants. We will share facts, such as habitats, diet, interesting behaviors, and more. We will also draw the animal or plant that we are learning about. This is not a how to drawing class, students are encouraged to draw what they see (I will provide pictures and sometimes videos) or to base their drawings off of the images, but are encouraged to draw freely and use their imaginations to create their own scenes and scenarios. Kimmary has studied nature through art throughout her life. Her art is exhibited in person and online with a focus on wildlife and plants. Through this artistic journey she has learned as much as she can about the nature that she photographs, draws, and paints. Kimmary has been a professional artist for over 26 years.
Paper and anything they want to draw with, such as crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc. I suggest multiple sheets of paper in case students want to start over. Some students also like to take notes (not required), these students will also want lined paper and pen or pencil.
