수업 소개
*For students and teacher communication, you can download the outschool app on your phone or check your email frequently.* *Asking for a spot by messages , does not mean you enroll the class.* *Price includes all materials( textbook, workbook , test & audio)* This class is designed for beginning level students and taught in a group setting. The course is 8 weeks long and meets 1 time per week for 45 minutes each class. Designed to teach practical language skills for everyday use, this course will teach the student how to introduce themselves in a variety of settings, talk about their greeting skill, hobbies, family dynamics, money, food, and numbers. The topics will be facilitated via reading, listening, and speaking using coursework, visuals, audio, and light homework assignments to help them internalize the material. The student will have undivided attention and ample time to interact with a native speaker, ask questions, share ideas, etc. As someone who has learned foreign languages, I understand the challenges and the concerns that a learner experiences. To this point, it is my mission to encourage the student's confidence and to not scare them away from achieving the gift of communicating in a foreign language. Materials will be provided.

By the end of this 8-week course, students entering with little understanding of Chinese should be able to introduce themselves and ask somebody their name, talk about their family members, classmates, and friends, use numbers 1-30talk and ask about likes & dislikes, use "How Much? How many? and, also, but, very, little, too" as well as additional verbs, nouns, plurals, and adjectives.

I'm Wu Min, I'm from Taiwan, I am a native mandarin and Taiwanese speaker, also speak fluently in English.
I have 15 years formal teaching experience, I taught math, science, sports, English and Mandarin for all ages. I was also a substitute teacher for public schools in Taiwan. I have TCSOL (Teaching Chinese To Speakers Of Other Languages) Certification. I am affiliated with Overseas Community Affairs Council, Republic of China (Taiwan) and Taiwan center of Mandarin Learning.
I use a lot of self-create material ,educational fun tools , songs and story books to help students to learn . I'm not only believe in encouragement and discipline but also believe in building self-confidence and studying skill are important. I'm able to teach simple character and Pinyin as well.
My daughter is fluent in English and Mandarin speaking and listening and I have been teaching her read and write since she was 3 years old. She is able to recognize and write all Zhuyin and spell the vocabulary by herself in 9 months. Recently, she started to learn Chinese characters.
In addition ,I have years of teaching Mandarin with one on one and group classes for all ages. Now, most of my courses are online , my course rank several level such as toddler Mandarin ,Mandarin Beginner ,Mandarin practical conversation, Mandarin advance and Business Mandarin. From 15 years teaching experience I'm able to analyze students' strength and weakness and personalize the curriculum with self-create materials.
There will be specific curriculum for every session, homework and test can be provided as well.
As someone who has learned foreign languages, I understand the challenges and the concerns that a learner experiences. To this point, it is my mission to encourage the student's confidence and to not scare them away from achieving the gift of communicating in a foreign language.
