Hi! I am so excited to work with you! Some of the classes I will teach will include Internet safety, Socializing on the internet safely, and classes that help you connect to your peers. My ideas for teaching our currently evolving and more will be added as I go along. 
I am currently a parent to two young girls and have seen a very big need for more internet safety and supervision while kids are out playing online. Right now online has become our new backyard and its much bigger with much more to be aware of then the fenced back yard we grew up in!
My background of sources includes caring for my two young girls, I have a Bachelors in Science with a minor in sociology and psychology. I also was a nanny previously. I have been a classroom helper chipping in when I could for my kids school classes while they were in school. I am currently homeschooling two different aged kids and have learned a lot about schooling and how kids learn and grow in a educational setting. 
I believe all kids should be included! I feel right now with the kids not getting their regular socialization its more important than ever to give kids a chance to talk to each other. I want to contribute to children gaining friends online through my class and also teach them how to navigate  the online world even if they are not in my class. I want them to be safe and learn socialize with others online and make wise decisions while in games whether they are in class with me or not. 
I hope to help your kids build relationships with the kids they meet in class but also help them understand what they do in class is not the same as being online in a game that isn't supervised but a professional adult. 

Class policies: 
You must do an initial video check in per Outschool's policies unless verified by Outschool and have the special certification from them that shows the child has been verifiied.

Refunds: I follow outschools refund policy but if you were not happy with my class please message me right away and I can either refund you or we can arrange for a different class. 

Mute/Unmute: My preference is to try to keep everyone unmuted so they can talk to each other. If I have to mute someone its most likely from excess background noise. We may have to utilize as well if students are not getting equal chances to talk. 

Class Length: If you have a time constraint let me know right away via email or at the beginning of the class since sometimes I may go over by 5 minutes or so if we are have lots of fun! 

Goal: To help kids get some socialization by making friends with people in classes and hopefully for long term while also teaching them about online safety.
