This is a 30 minute one-on-one class for beginner readers in grades Kindergarten- 2nd grade or ESL students. In this class, we will review letter names, letter sounds, blending words, reading sight words, and using vocabulary in complete sentences. We will engage in interactive games and activities that are structured to build knowledge of the English language and build a strong foundation in reading. The students will begin to be able to recognize letter names and sounds in interactive online games and exercises. They will also practice reading and writing sight words independently and recognizing patterns in words. They will be able to produce creative sentences using the vocabulary words practiced. Throughout the lesson, we will engage in meaningful, structured dialogue with correct pronunciation to enhance verbal skills in the English language.
