In the leaning the alphabet class, learners will learn their alphabet but also learn about animals while doing so. We will cover each letter of the alphabet in a repetitive but fun way that relates to animals. I want to make it a fun and engaging experience for my learners. I am truly honored to teach little ones and I hope they have fun learning the alphabet and animals in this class.

This class is designed to help children learn the a loaner and even learners with ADHD and autism can benefit from this learner as I will go slow and work on repetition and sounds.

Welcome to Outschool!
I’m a certified teacher and I teach lower elementary. I was a homeschool mom of two for ten years and I have a passion for teaching.
I love watching little ones learn and grow!
I have a high functioning autistic son and another son with ADHD and I love to help other children that may struggle academically. I love teaching classes about animals, letters, numbers, story time, phonics, song time, Bible stories, and arts and crafts.
I have my Bachelors Degree in Communications with a minor in Marketing and Art. I’ve been a special needs teacher, a Sunday School teacher, a kids choir teacher, and an art teacher and STEM teacher for many years and I get so much joy watching little ones learn. I’m a certified teacher and I currently teach art and STEM to lower elementary.
My teaching style is very much influenced by my experience as a homeschool parent.
I believe children are all are natural learners and that our classroom is a safe space where we can all feel respected. In our classroom we can all openly exchange ideas and opinions and can expect kindness and grace.
I focus on empowering my students by finding what they are passionate about and exploring their interests.
In my classroom my students can feel free to mute/unmute when needed. I am comfortable interacting with learners off-screen if they prefer not to stay on camera after they have been verified.
My classes are inclusive and I enjoy the diverse and accepting Outschool learner community.
I welcome the chance to meet children of all abilities and I also strive to meet the needs of neurodivergent children and any children with learning challenges.
I look forward to the opportunity of meeting your learners and sharing my passion for learning with them. I am excited to help your little one learn and having fun while learning.
