The objectives for this class is for the students to leave the class knowing the basic pronunciation of numbers 1-10 in Spanish and how to differentiate color names in Spanish using M&Ms as an example. 

I spent 18 months living in Mexico and became immersed in the culture and language, and some of my time was spent teaching children basic English. I've spent a lot of time working with kids in this age group.

Assessment will be done by asking students individually and as a group to repeat the numbers and colors being learned multiple times for practice. Then I will ask them to answer using their own knowledge. We will also have a round of activities where they will test their knowledge the same way.
