In this ongoing format, learners will develop their maths skills. This course contains a greater focus on the use of manipulatives in the classroom, pictorial and abstract representations to promote deeper learning, language support to help EAL students develop fluency in mathematical language. Sure, here are the updated dates starting on May 13, 2024: Week of 22/7/24 - Introduction to Math in Engineering - engineering disciplines Week of 29/7/24 - Introduction to Math in Engineering - role of mathematics in engineering and its importance Week of 5/8/24 - Introduction to Math in Engineering - basic mathematical concepts used in engineering, such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry Week of 12/8/24 - Mathematics in Mechanical Engineering - mathematical principles in mechanical engineering Week of 19/8/24 - Mathematics in Mechanical Engineering - forces, motion, and energy Week of 26/8/24 - Mathematics in Mechanical Engineering - Hands-on activity: Designing and building simple machines and calculating mechanical advantage Further classes will be added.
