In this fun one time class we will join together and learn how to draw and colour super cute halloween things in the Kawaii style. We will draw a cool witch cat, skeleton and Dracula! Kawaii means 'cute' in Japanese and Kawaii style drawings usually have faces to give the them cute personalities. This is great for encouraging creativity in your learner as they can easily make up stories to go along with their dynamic drawings. I will go through step by step instructions using slides and live drawing demonstrating how to make our beautiful spooky Kawaii artworks. Your drawings will be spooktacular! It will be a super fun class where students are free to express themselves through art and creativity. So come and create your own Kawaii Halloween! I will also give some great tips and tricks to what makes something look 'Kawaii' and I love to encourage students to share their work at the end of the class. My teaching style is very enthusiastic and I like to encourage my students by praising what they are doing well and sensitively pointing out where they could improve. The best way to learn is through doing and so my lesson will be very interactive and engaging. The students will need some plain paper, a pencil, an eraser, sharpener and coloured pens or pencils, including the colour black. They can also use paints if they wish. No required experience or knowledge is needed for this class. Just a joy and curious attitude about art and how to draw!
