In this class the students will learn techniques that artists use to their drawings look 3-D. The subject matter will be Pokemon characters. Each student will draw along with the instructor while they learn about foreshortening, types of line, color, shading and background and foreground. This is a hands-on class. The students can ask questions, share their art and receive tips on their drawings while they are making them. We will also talk about Pokemon history and evolutions while we draw....
During this four day class intermediate Pokemon artists will draw a few evolutions of a Basic type Pokemon from start to finish. We will talk about the Pokemon as we learn how to draw it accurately using basic shapes, an artist's grid, and quality of line. The students will learn how to make a 2-D drawing have 3-D qualities. In every class the student will be able to finish one stage of the Pokemon character evolution.
