In this class, students will learn and practice various Musical Theater singing techniques that will make them more memorable and powerful performers. The student will have the opportunity to perform a musical theater song of their choosing. Depending on the learner's song choice and personal performance goals, I will coach them on specifics like healthy belting, acting-through-song, vocal style choices, and additional repertoire options. Students will leave the class with a better understanding of how their unique voice works.
Be sure to have one (1) song prepared that you know well and love to sing. Have a backing track ready on a different device to sing along to (you can find these on youtube). For example, if you are joining the meeting on a computer, use your phone to play the backing track.
