1. Students will learn the  letters of the alphabet.
2. Students will learn the letter-sound correspondence of all alphabet letters.
3. Students will identify and say the sounds of the letters.
4. Students will understand how letters and sounds are linked together.
5. Students will learn that letters represent the sounds of the spoken language.

I have taught Fundations in my classroom for twenty-five years. I have receiving extensive training in phonics study for pre-k and kindergarten students. I have also tutored students in first grade and kindergarten on zoom and in person on phonics study and Fundations. I have taught ESL and homeschool students virtually.

Each week I will assign hands-on worksheets for the letters taught. There will be 2 sheets per week. Students will also bring in an object that begins with the letters taught to share with their classmates.

I will informally observe students and provide feedback to parents periodically. I will also provide parents with resources and practice sheets for homework.
