In this class your child will learn to recognize basic CVC and sight words.  We will work on putting letters together and making different words out of them.  We will also work on our letters and their sounds that they make.   We will meet three times and week for 30 minutes at a time.  We will review our letters and their sounds at the beginning of each class.  We will have worksheets for your child to do along with me so we can work and learn together.  I hope your child is ready to have fun and learn in this class.  I cant wait to meet them.  I will upload the worksheets the weekend before the next week of class.

We will start out each class by reviewing upper and lower case letters and the sounds they make.  There will be worksheets with 1,2 and 3 letter words on it that we will sound out the letters together to see how they make that word.  We will do this each class so that by the end they will be able to recognize simple words and know how to spell them.  I also have magnet letters to use as we talk about spelling words to show them one letter at a time.  Your child will have so much fun learning how to spell and recognize easy words such as cat, dog and so much more.  I cant wait to teach your child in this fun class.
