In this 4-week course, we will explore the important elements included in fairy tales and each learner will write their own fairy tale by the end of the course! It will be a fun, magical time of exploring the common elements of fairy tales (what makes them unique), while also developing our own fairy tales! I have my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language Arts, as well as an Early Childhood through 4th Grade teaching certification. While I have taught all subjects in grades Pre-K through 4th Grade, English Language Arts is my area of expertise and my passion!

Each week, we focus on a different element. Learners will likely have a bit of homework after weeks 1-3, as they use their creativity to plan out one specific element of their story. Following the class on Week 4, learners should expect to spend a minimum of 1-hour putting together the elements of their fairy tale into a completed story which will be presented during Week 5.수업 외 주당 0 - 1 시간

Learners will need a pen or pencil and paper for each class. Markers, crayons, or colored pencils may also be beneficial if your learner likes to plan by drawing out pictures! Ms. Price will provide graphic organizers that can be printed out ahead of time. However, if a family does not have access to a printer, students can easily do the same work on a blank piece of paper!
