There are NO LIVE meetings for this class. The material will be posted weekly (on Monday mornings) and you can view it during the week at your convenience. In just 4 short classes, you'll create a designer dress for your dog - designed and sewn by you!
Students will be guided step-by-step through the sewing process with videos that have been pre-recorded, along with slideshows and a game. Students will also receive a free printable pattern (required).
Students will learn the basics of the sewing process while creating a dog dress that they design. Topics covered will be fabric direction and proper cutting, neat & clean sewing, sewing tips, straight stitch, gathering stitch, top stitch, and finishing details.
Homework will be a combination of using the sewing steps shown in the videos to create an actual project. Student will be asked to upload a picture weekly to show their progress. I will reply with written or video feedback within 24 hours.
Students are encouraged to interact with each other in the Outschool classroom, playing a game and uploading pictures for a pet fashion show.

The class is a flex class, there are NO LIVE meetings. Students can learn at their own pace.
Sewing should be fun and relaxing. This class is a series of fun videos. Watch the video, then work at your own pace on your project. Then upload a picture of your progress to get feedback from your instructor. The best part is, if you need help - just email your instructor! I will respond with written or video feedback within 24 hours.
A new video lesson is uploaded on Monday mornings. based upon the picture. 
Your instructor will be available via the classroom. All questions are answered within 24 hours If you need additional help, your instructor may ask you to do a short Zoom meeting. There will be a game for learners to interact with each other. (optional)
A basic knowledge of using a sewing machine is required. You should be able to wind a bobbin and thread your machine.
