When learning to read is fun, kids don't just LEARN to read, they learn to LOVE to read! In this class, we will sing songs, play games, and complete fun activities as kiddos develop their reading skills.
While the kids are having a blast in class, here are the skills that they will be working on:
• The Alphabetic Principle: We learn the relationship between written letters and spoken sounds.
• Phonological Awareness: We take those sounds and start arranging and rearranging them,...I have been an early childhood educator for 20 years, teaching in brick and mortar classrooms, as well as online. My philosophy, when it comes to learning to read has always been this: When learning to read is fun, then reading becomes fun, as well.
