In this class, students will learn the basics of crochet. We will be making a washcloth out of 100% cotton yarn. This is basically just a square. Students will learn these beginning stitches, chain stitch, single crochet, and slip stitch. The teacher will be using two cameras to show her hands crocheting and also her face on the main camera. I have been crocheting most of my life, I learned as a teenager from my grandmother. I am a veteran homeschool teacher for more than 20 years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management, and a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology. I strive to individualize my teaching methods to each student and their needs in the moment. I strive to work with parents on the best way to approach education with their student as they are the experts on their student. I also have certification in Behavioral Management, this gives me the perspective to work with students with special needs. I look forward to seeing you in my classroom.
